City staff/City Engineer calculate the proper amount to be assessed against each property and prepare a list (the assessment roll) of all properties to be assessed under the project.
A Mailing of Notice of the City Council public hearing on the proposed assessment will take place. The notice must appear in a newspaper or publication. The City must also mail a notice to each affected property owner at least two weeks prior to the hearing date. The City Council will also hold a Public Hearing on the proposed assessment.
