Apply for our Planning Commission

The City of North St. Paul is accepting applications for an opening on the Planning Commission. This is a one-year position to fill an opening created by Allan Worm's recent retirement from the Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission meets monthly and consists of seven members, plus City staff and a Council representative.
Commission members address planning concerns such as proposed public buildings, street arrangements and improvements, efficient design of thoroughfares for moving traffic, parks, playgrounds, zoning ordinances, and general land use plans throughout the City. The Planning Commission is also responsible for conducting Public Hearings as directed by the City Council or city policy.

The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on the various elements of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and provides the Council with proposals for any change in regulations, zoning, development, or amendments.
Interested residents are encouraged to complete an online application.
