Winter Tree Removals

ashtreeamarkednewsflash

The City's Forester is busy inspecting and marking infected ash trees located on the City's boulevards. Infected trees will be identified for removal by red spray paint and will be removed by City staff throughout the winter months as schedules and weather permit. The decision to remove public trees is based upon the condition of the tree in question according to City Code 98.02. Residents with ash trees in their yards are encouraged to monitor them for Emerald Ash Borer infestation.
