Now hiring warming house attendants

WARMING HOUSE ATTENDANT  

Part-time temporary/seasonal | $13.00 per hour

 The City of North St. Paul is seeking individuals as seasonal Warming House Attendant.  

General Duties: Persons will supervise a warming house and outdoor ice rink; enforce park and skating rules; interact with and provide customer service to skaters and general assistance as needed; treat injuries as necessary; report incidents; and complete other duties as assigned. Persons shall also perform basic building maintenance, such as sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, shoveling walkways, and performing opening and closing procedures of facility. 

Qualifications: Previous experience supervising skating rinks or other recreation activities.  Basic first aid training is preferred, but not required. Applicants without recreation supervising work experience will also be considered and are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be available to work the entire season, be 16 years of age or older, and pass a background check.

 Employment dates are tentatively from Mid-December through Mid-February, weather permitting. The warming house building will be generally open Monday through Friday from 4-8 p.m., Saturdays 12-8 p.m., and Sundays from 12-6 p.m. Holiday Hours: Closed December 24 & 25. December 27- 31 open 2-8 p.m.
