Celebrating North St. Paul Firefighters

Every January the fire department hosts its Annual Appreciation and Retirement Dinner for current and retired firefighters along with their families, friends, and loved ones. It’s a time to honor our firefighters for their service to the department and the community.

  • Firefighter Mackenzie Foster was given the Chief’s Award of Excellence in recognition of her outstanding attitude, work, and performance duties. 
  • Former Fire Chief Scott Duddeck (current City Manager) was honored for his outstanding leadership provided to the department for 34 years.
  • Lamarr Stringer was given the Firefighter of the Year award for his positive characteristics, notable record of service, support to the fire department and community activities, and exemplifies: dedication, integrity, loyalty, team player, productivity, and professionalism.
