Call received on our anonymous tip line are recorded on an answering machine in our department. Police supervisors regularly check the messages and distribute the information per our department’s guidelines. All information received will be thoroughly evaluated and disseminated accordingly.

It’s the mission of the North St. Paul Police Department to protect and serve the people of our community and we need your help. Use our Anonymous Tip form or phone line to share information on criminal or suspicious activity. Nothing is too small to report. You can, and should share anything and everything with us.

  • When calling the Tip Line or using our online form, please be as descriptive as possible by including:
  • Describing the incident or reason for the tip
  • Names, descriptions, addresses, license plate numbers or other information to assist our investigation
  • No one will contact you, or know who you are unless you want us to.
  • Callers are encouraged to leave their names and phone number to assist with any follow-up.
  • Your action helps us make North St. Paul a safe place to live while improving your quality of life.
