North St. Paul residents can borrow portable recycling containers at no cost for temporary events. The containers collapse for easy transport and come with custom plastic bags to attach to the assembled frame.
Event Recycling Tips
Pair the recycling container with a trash can. This helps keep the trash out of the recycling. Review the City's Acceptable Recycling items here.
If you event is outdoors, anchor your containers if it is windy.
Use the plastic bags provided with the containers
Dispose of the recycling collected at your event before you return the containers.
Wipe the frame and lids well before you return them.
Return any unused plastic bags.
Return the containers in the box provided by City Hall during regular hours.
