History of Department
The electric utilities were purchased from private investors in 1898. A small electric generator located on the south shore of Silver Lake served as a beginning for what today is a proud tradition of citizen-owned and locally operated municipal utilities.
If you have an electric emergency, please contact the City of North St. Paul at 651-747-2417, answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
