Reports can take a day or up to a week depending on the circumstances of the call before they are ready for release.
You will receive a letter in the mail stating the reason for the denial. You may appeal the denial if you so choose instructed in the letter.
City staff/City Engineer calculate the proper amount to be assessed against each property and prepare a list (the assessment roll) of all properties to be assessed under the project.A Mailing of Notice of the City Council public hearing on the proposed assessment will take place. The notice must appear in a newspaper or publication. The City must also mail a notice to each affected property owner at least two weeks prior to the hearing date. The City Council will also hold a Public Hearing on the proposed assessment.
