Pumpkin Drop in 11th Year

Recycling Pumpkins

Annual Pumpkin Drop in 11th Year - November 1-5
The Environmental Advisory Commission is once again collecting pumpkins as part of the annual pumpkin drop event. Residents are able to recycle their pumpkins after Halloween and provide feed for local farmers rather than burying them in landfills. The event continues to grow with an all-time record of 5,500 lbs. dropped off in 2016, up from 1,640 lbs. in 2007. Drop off your used pumpkins from November 1-5 at the trailer parked in front of the Scout Museum at 2640 7th Avenue. For more recycling tips go to: or (651) 633-EASY (3279) answered 24/7.
