This will only be the 5th nomination primary in the State’s history. Although there is a presidential primary, there will still be caucuses for other offices. Updated information on that will be available in 2020. The City of North St. Paul will have two city offices on the November ballot in 2020. The City of North St. Paul does not hold a city primary election, only a city general election. You will be able to make application for an absentee ballot at City Hall or via the website at www.mnvotes.org or https://www.ramseycounty.us/residents/elections-voting.
The City of North St. Paul will only accept sealed absentee ballots here at City Hall. There is no actual absentee voting or early voting conducted at City Hall. In January there will be updated information to include voting location maps and addresses for 2020.
Ramsey County conducts “in person” absentee voting for the City of North St. Paul, and there will not be “in person” early voting taking place at the North St. Paul City Hall. Instead, there will be ten (10) county operated remote early voting locations for the state primary and the state general election. The locations will be posted on the City website and in the lobby of City Hall.
In January, 2020 there will more updates on this process.
