New Restrooms Planned for Rotary Park

Rotary Park at Gateway Trailhead

The City of North St. Paul has long sought partnerships to enhance the feasibility of projects and to better engage with organizations and the community. For the past several years the City and North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary Club have partnered to develop Rotary Park along the popular Gateway State Trail, one of the state’s most highly used multi-purpose recreation trails in the heart of North St. Paul.

Currently the park trailhead is equipped with 31 parking spaces, temporary restroom facilities, and two picnic shelters. Funds have been raised by the Rotary Club for a permanent restroom facility. Construction will start in the coming weeks.

The trailhead is beneficial for frequent users of the Gateway Trail. From taking a rest break along the trail, having a picnic with family, a place to take in a public events or explore North St. Paul, the trailhead is a great asset to the community.

Thank you Rotary Club for investing in North St. Paul!
