Tree Registration Closed

Please note: We are no longer taking reservations for a free tree. The Forestry Department has reached their capacity.

Attention: Trees seeking homes with room to spread their leaves and grow for the rest of their lives. In return for regular watering and TLC, these babies will provide decades of shade, shelter and beauty.

The City is offering a limited number of complimentary trees for adoption to North St. Paul Residents. The trees are 4 to 6 feet tall, in five-gallon pots. Planting instructions will be included with the tree.

To adopt a tree (one per household), pre-registration is required and does not start until March 18, 2019.

Trees must be planted in the City of North St. Paul. Tree species include:

  • Royal Red Maple
  • River Birch (clump)
  • White Birch (Dakota pinnacle single stem)
  • Pagoda Dogwood
  • Magnolia tree (white flower clump)
  • Bur Oak
  • Black Hills Spruce

Pick up your adopted tree at Rotary Park located at 2290 2nd Street North on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:00 - 11:00 am.
